I don't like the layout or how cramped it is inside of this refrigerator. It's supposed to be bigger but seems to lack in actual space. And the freezer is just 1 huge drawer divided down the middle with no shelving, etc

This fridge is replacing a 9 yr 9 month old LG that has very similar features and size. The drawers on this unit slide much more easily than the LG, and the water filter is much easier to change out. To change out the water filter on the LG I had to empty the top shelf and take it out to be able to drop the door far enough to get the filter out to replace. The one thing I liked better on the LG is that there is a seperate ice and water lever so you didn™™t have to hit a button to change what comes out, just move the cup to the other lever. The LG is noticeably more quiet as well, but since it failed in 9 years I wouldn™™t mind the slightly louder compressor in this Frigidaire if it lasts a lot longer. It™™s not very loud though so I didn™™t knock any stars off for it.

The refrigerator started having a HI temperature warning. Tried toe reset it like the web site said but no luck. Contacted Frigidaire only to be told there are limited service companies in my area. Strange since I only live 45 miles from Atlanta. Frigidaire said it would take 5-7 days for them to find a service company. Amazing for a company as big as Frigidaire to take that long to find a repair company. Went through this with my new Frigidaire stove too. Had to buy another stove. Don't buy anything made by Frigidaire.

This fridge is very similar to our old LG fridge in appearance and features that it is replacing. Our LG™™s compressor died at 9 years 9 months and even with the warranty on the compressor would™™ve cost bout $950 so it wasn™™t worth it to repair it. This fridge has drawers that slide better than the LG, and the water filter is easier to change. I had to empty the top shelf and take it out to drop the filter and change it out in our old LG fridge while this one just pops in and out in the middle of the lower fridge portion. The only thing I™™m noticing more with this fridge is the slightly louder hum of the compressor. I could only tell that our old LG was running when standing right next to it. This fridge I can hear from 10 feet away, but it is still very quiet. It also uses a little more electricity than the LG, but if the compressor lasts longer I think that will be worth it in the end.

I went from a side by side I hated. I felt like I could never find anything to this one and it has so much space. Haha I just found two small door shelves I didn™™t even notice and they are perfect for applesauce pouches. There is no wasted space on this fridge. The bottom freezer is perfect and so roomie! If you™™re on the fence for a new fridge this is the one to get. I also love the ice machine is in the fridge and not freezer and it™™s small and compact.

I bought this FRFS2823AS in May. it stops working all of sudden! it was shut off by itself for a couple of days, and two days later, it turns back on by itself again. When it shuts off, I tried plugging out for ten minutes and plugged back in but it didn't react. A couple of days later it turns back on by itself. So I check the panel to see if it's been on the SABBATH MODE? nope, it's not. After it turned back on by itself, It starts to beep every hour, because of HI TEMP. And i found, that temperature is not properly low enough in both refrigerator and freezer. Since I canceled my first repair appointment ( because I thought it starts to work); I have to make another appointment. Another thing I don't like is their repair service lacks urgency. when I called to set up anppointment, it always takes two days or more to wait. When I first called on August 19th requesting appointment, they gave me August 22nd. since I canceled that appointment, I called again on August 21st to set up another appoinment, I have to wait until August 26. It's summer time, and this new refrigerator is not working. My food went bad due to tis broken refrigerator. I DO NOT RECOMMAND THIS FRFS2823AS REFRIGERATOR.
