Terrible lint vent design

Soon after we bought this dryer the lint vent corner melted and never laid flush in the machine again. We had clothes every cycle getting caught on this corner and would wind themselves around it. We have had clothes ruined because of it. The entire lint trap needed to be replaced as many other people had the same exact problem.
