Great Performance QC Problem? Fit Finish

Weve had the refrigerator for about 3 weeks now and are very happy with its performance. We do have a problem with the upper and bottom doors not aligned properly. Weve had a service call and are waiting to see what solution LG offers. Once the fit and finish is resolved its a solid 5 star.

Honest review its been a great unit until it when out a day away from thanksgiving we lost everything fridge and freezer and still dont have a refrigerator working kinda sucks cant get someone to work on it cause a lot of service companies dont want nothing to do with LG been without a fridge for 14 days and I talked to them today to complain of corse and they said I should here something in 24/48 hrs to either get a new fridge or a refund.

I got this a year ago and it stopped working LOST all my food a few days before Thanksgiving so I had to rebuy everything.. it took 4 days to fix the tech comes without the part and tells me that this is common for the fridge that he just fix 4 of them without the same problem thats why he didnt have the part.. so if they know that its a common problem why make you do all the rest set that takes 2 days to start to get a tech out ? just send them. so for me and the loss of food just before the holiday not good..

LG REFRIGERATOR WENT COMPLETELY. Defrosted everything. Trying to get a repairman here was unbelievable No shows cancellation etc. Trying to reach presidential liaison to contact me was a joke. We are senior citizens and communication was the worst. No one cared. Buying ice for almost a month for our ice chest was not only inconvenient costly and limited our purchases for us to eat. But I didnt give up calling every day sometimes twice a day. But still no response. Finally got a repairman out here. Just remember LG NOT EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO COMMUNICATE BY TEXT. As a courtesy please treat your customers who trusted in your products with respect. Give them an old fashion phone call.

Good Fridge Good Customer Service

Ive had this refrigerator for about 2 and a half years now. It looks nice but isnt over the top fancy with a screen and speakers or anything like that. The compressor recently went out I guess the programming in the computer caused it to run more than necessary but other than that its been great. LG 5-year parts + labor warranty on the sealed system is awesome. They scheduled a tech for the repair within about 10 days and he showed up on day 17 after the breakdown and completed the job in an hour then mailed me a check for food loss. Im overall impressed with the customer service and happy with my purchase.

Its okay had a few issues

So far the refrigerator seems to be functioning normally but I did have quite a few issues. First and most surprising the stainless steel door has two unsightly and cheap-looking plastic screw caps on it that are not shown in the photos These appear to be so that you can move the door handle to the other side of the door. I find it to be misleading and unethical not to disclose that these are present. I am not sure I would have purchased this refrigerator if I had known about the screw caps. Second the deli drawer is defective/dented. Third the divider in the freezer drawer came incorrectly installed and therefore would not slide. I called LG about the problem with the divider and the customer service rep was not knowledgeable about it but while I was on hold forever with him I found a YouTube video that showed me how to fix it with a screwdriver.

LG refrigerator not cooling

My LG refrigerator bought 3year ago suddenly stop working The light and fans still on but not cooling and make no iced. I called LG customer services and being guides through some troubleshooting to determine the compressor stop working. LG had agree to dispatch schedule service to our refrigerator with no cost to us. The LG design and excellent customer service had get us highest confidence to their product and added more LG appliances to our family.

I have had my refrigerator well over a month probably closer to a year and absolutely love it. A lot of room to keep food cool and the freezer department is wonderful plenty of room. I have also purchased an LG dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer which I love. My next purchase will be a stove and microwave then Im all set. Love the brand couldnt be happier

Our fridge width was limited by cabinets but Im very happy with the internal size. It is as much as 36 refrigerators due to water/ice door dispenser. We had another brand/model before and the upgrade in space was awesome This is my first time owning a bottom drawer style refrigerator and we really like it. Good layout that you can store a lot of items and the items in the top fridge part that you use more are at eye level so you dont have to bend down to see whats in it. Compressor did go out but it was covered under warranty. Would buy again.

We bought our refrigerator in March 2021. Very happy with it. In September of 2023 the compressor went out. We were out of town and came home to deal with the mess and smell. A repairman came the next day and knew exactly what had happened. He said this was an issue with this model. He said the smell would go away when the refrigerator got up to the right temperature. We are still dealing with the smell and LG has completely ignored our requests for help. Never again will we buy an LG appliance They dont care about their customers

Very happy with our purchase. This is the quietest refrigerator weve ever owned due in part to the new style compressor. I really like the temperature display when you open the door and the shelf and storage compartment arrangement. The freezer section is very large and user friendly. If I had to say anything negative about it it would be that the freezer door makes a little bit of noise when closing it due to the upper shelf but its something I can live with.

I am writing my review on our LG Refrigerator: 26 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator model number is LRDCS2603S purchased at Home Depot summer of 2020. We purchased this fridge in June 2020 and we have had many serious problems with it. First the fridge was only 1 and half years old when the compressor died. This was replaced but then for the past year nothing but temperature fluctuations in the fridge ranging from 28 to 52 degrees when set at 37. Also the ice machine produces a large frozen ice ball so it is unusable and the freezer ices up. These issues continue and are not fixed to this day. Despite all these problems the most frustrating and difficult aspect of owning this refrigerator has been dealing with LG. Yikes hours and hours of our life on the phone being told various misleading statements. We told them our plight we did everything they wanted us to do trouble shooting ect... nothing ever worked. We would be on the phone for hours with these reps and each rep would tell you something different from the previous rep. After multiple service calls LG asked us to provide purchase receipt of our product etc.. telling us we would receive a refund-nothing happened. We believe their intention is to simply wear the customer down through many very lengthy misleading phone calls to the point where the customer feels there will be no resolution and then gives up trying to correct the wrong. LG provided names of appliances companies that would fix our fridge but none would come out except for one and after the initial repairs LG said we could no longer use them. This repair company was very good and reputable and they too were taken back and had to correct the completely incorrect information. The appliance repair shop came to our home five times and still the fridge is not working and LG now claims we are not under warranty anymore. The refrigerator is now three years old and started malfunctioning when it was one and a half. LG does not want to help us and does not seem to care about its customers. We have had no lasting success with this fridge and would greatly caution anyone wanting to buy an LG refrigerator. LG refuses to take responsibility for their appliance. We rarely write negative reviews. The only reviews we normally submit are positive.

My husband and I love this refrigerator It has so much room inside without taking up much more floor space. Also we like the way the shelves are designed on the inside door so you can fit both tall things and short things. And having the freezer on the bottom is so much better than the old refrigerator with it on the top. Things always were falling out when we opened the freezer. We had thought that we needed to buy a separate freezer but now we realize that this new refrigerator can hold what we need. So glad we got this refrigerator.

Terrific Service contract

I had an issue where my compressor suddenly failed. I called LG and went through several easy steps to diagnose it and for the customer service rep agree with me that it is the compressor. This was a very quick process and a technician was scheduled about 4 days later. The technician Wahid Aleko came to my house and was very professional and interactive with my son who had some interest in what was happening. Wahid was fantastic and I am very appreciative for his time. We have had no problems since Thank you Wahid and LG customer service

This is my second review Ive written And as I indicated in my previous review I doubt that you will post or review this one as well. I have been trying to get a refund since July 18 2023 since there is no one to service my LG fridge on Maui. It took over 3 months for the refund department to issue me a check. And 3 weeks ago I was told it is in the mail. I am still waiting. Cmon LG. your appliances and admin are not looking credible I think I also deserve that $500 bonus for filling out this review and a second time.

I couldnt give it zero stars. We had owned this refrigerator for less than three years and it quit cooling. I contacted Lowes extended warranty people and it took them a week to approve a repairman to work on it. He determined that the problem was a defective cooling compressor. A week later they bounced it back to LG because they have a seven year warranty on the cooling system so I called LG. It took them another week to approve the repair and the repairman. He ordered the parts to repair the refrigerator and so far we are still waiting on the compressor to arrive and its now over three weeks of using coolers and buying ice. My experience with this refrigerator and LG has been extremely negative. I either want it fixed or a new refrigerator.
